While I’ve been Tweeting on #Benghazi, I’ve had a hard time keeping my Tweets (comments) on topic (Benghazi), mainly because Obama delights in stirring the pot with a multitude of distractions. With all the distractions, keeping what little media coverage we are able to garner has been a challenge. We’ve been after this thing for after 14 months and I think the flame is starting to sear his rear-end.
But, disturbing to me, and I’ve been guilty too, is that there are a lot of very concerned Patriots that have kept after #Benghazi that let their tempers get in the way. One of the biggest distractions (and Obama is smiling) is tweeting about trolls.
I’m not very smart and I probably wouldn’t know a troll if it hit me in the face. I personally don’t have time for this crap. My goal is to keep after Obama and #Benghazi. Every tweet about a troll is a waste of time. I’d rather compose a tweet that has a chance of advancing the #Benghazi cause.
Be careful when you start attacking fellow Patriots. I’ve seen some really good friendships ruined over this kind of stuff. You can have disagreements with others and make your point. But if all you’ve got is calling someone a troll, it’s a waste of time. I try to ignore people that tweet me at make a smart comment and try to draw me into a flap. I try to just ignore them. Every once in a while, I forget and answer back, usually to my detriment. I like to respond to people who tweet me with a tweet that advances the #Benghazi cause.
We have a great core of Patriots that work really hard on #Benghazi and our goals are the same. The methods may vary from person to person, but let’s keep an open mind and keep our core intact without infighting. That only advances Obama’s cause.
We need to realize, all of us are volunteers. We need a big tent. To that end let’s re-group and PRESS ON. I think Obama is on the ropes. I’d say he doing a rope-a-dope, but he is really a dope and I think his knees are ready to buckle. Let’s get after it.
Sorry if I got a little preachy here. Forgive me. My intentions are good.
